“Mountain Leaders should be familiar with techniques to ensure safe travel through steep and broken ground.” This workshop looks at a combination of the hard and soft skills required to manage groups in these areas.
We will cover…
- Planning, Route choice and group management
- Suitability of rope and other equipment
- Rope management
- Appropriate knots
- Belaying and selection of safe anchors
- Correct use of an appropriate system
This workshop will be delivered by Will Kilner who is an approved provider for all of Mountain Training’s walking awards and for the Full range of NNAS courses.
